I mean they added.. megas to Hoenn remakes and lots of people are looking forward to more megas and even gamefreak admitted that they were going to do something with megas they just wanted a break after designing like 50+ new forms

Megas were in Hoenn remakes because it was the generational gimmick, then LGPE because it was to bring old/new fans in. There is no actual evidence that would support megas in BDSP.

Why the generational gimmick, though? Traditionally, gimmicks for the gen never made it into remakes like FRLG or HGSS, and to an extent it didn't happen with ORAS either.
What singles out Megas as some sort of arbitrary gimmick for Gen 6? Hell, they've appeared in more Gen 7 games than they did Gen 6, so isn't it more appropriate to call them the generational gimmick for Gen 7 since it was the last time they were seen and they were in every game for that gen?

It's a remake, the remaster cope is just the newest thing thrown out by autists.
They literally cannot comprehend that the style was made to be shit on purpose. They did remake the buildings from the ground-up, but most of the assets that are re-used are from SWSH, not DP; ergo, it's a remake and not a remaster.

There doesn't need to be any competitive changes at all to make it perfect, the only leg work that needs to be done is scrubbing any and all gimmicks permanently while bringing back core features like triples/rotation and megas.

By definition, it was.
Even USUM could be considered a remaster. It's what all third versions are. Remakes are made from the ground-up, usually in another engine, which BDSP is within SWSH's engine.
