>>46753132Yes. Instances of pokemon getting fucked over by the split are relative rare, and those instances are due to GF being faggots and not tweaking their movepools to compensate, or not coming up with a sufficient number of special moves for types that used to be only physical and vice versa.
For instance, Alakazam lost fire/thunder/ice punch, but it gained energy ball, shadow ball, signal beam, and focus miss.
Typhlosion got fucked over by losing thunder punch, but it's pre-split movepool was already very shallow, and GF specifically didn't give it anything else like earth power to compensate.
Also even post-split, there are many types where it's nigh-impossible to get moves on the other side of the split. If you want special rock attacks, there's power gem, but it's only learned by relatively few mons compared to everything that gets rock slide and stone miss. Everything gets plenty of physical fighting attacks, but special attackers have to settle for focus miss most of the time. Physical electric moves are dogshit compared to tbolt, etc
