Have they ever interacted outside of that one cutscene for World of Light? Like, Sonic showed up too late in Subspace Emissary to do anything, and with how sparse Pokemon crossovers are to begin with I don't know why Sonic specifically would be the go-to choice. And don't say it's because autists like it, I'm pretty mad at both franchises right now because they're both fucking up. Granted, Sonic is in the "is on drugs, beats his wife, and has to constantly go to rehab" category while Pokemon is in "never remembers any important dates in his relationship and is generally poor at communicating" right now. I also think the Sonic fans are way better in almost every way, but whatever.
