What's the logic behind Dark types being immune to Prankster? Wouldn't it have made more sense for Prankster to not work on Psychic types, since muh smart people can't be pranked?

Most of the Pokemon that have it are Dark type, and its Japanese name can translate to "Mischievious or Teasing Heart", making it sort of an opposite to Justified (Heart of Justice), which mostly Fighting types have

Psychic means mental powers, not smart.
See; Slowpoke, Psyduck, etc.
Dark types are conniving and crafty. Since they would be likely schemers, they would be more vigilant about shit like that.

Not all Psychic Pokemon have that power. Most just have telekinesis. Telekinesis is the most basic psychic power in the Pokemon world, stuff like telepathy, mind reading, and teleportation are more advanced techniques.

What if Slowpoke is so smart that it constantly gets lost in thought and is too busy pondering the mysteries of the universe to react to the world around it?
That's why Slowbro has seeming bursts of intelligence when Shellder bites down harder (it snaps back to reality) and why Slowking is smart all the time (the poison reduced its intelligence from god level to just really smart).
