To those who bought it, the DLC was a welcome addition to a game they enjoyed and convinced some who didn’t to actually finish it.
For those who didn’t buy it, it was further proof that the Dex cut was nothing more than an arbitrary paywall and you had to pay twice the price for a playable game.
People in here claiming it’s just like a third game in the series are wrong, as stated previously these DLCs didn’t fix anything in the base game they just added more content with a new story not unlike BW2.
In the end GameFreak knows they fucked up especially in the Japanese market, will they learn from it? Probably not.
