>>46772201>What's Gen 5's excuse.I don't remember White version showing me a Wild Reshiram that I just wasn't allowed to throw a ball at, but I'm fairly certain that you can get Reshiram in White 2 anyway, so if you follow the sequel to the version you played, you'd end up getting the other legendary regardless.
>>46772237>>46772224>>46772218What makes you feel like Sword and Shield are better than either of the Generation 5 games? I personally feel like the Generation 5 games at least tried to push the limits of the hardware they were designed for, even if they only happened to be released near the end of that hardware's life cycle, whereas SwSh don't really do that with the Switch. But I'm open to being wrong. I understand that common complaints against Gen 5 include the ugly sprite work and dex entries, and while I agree with those complaints, I find most of the character designs in Gen 5 to be more appealing than Sword and Shield's character designs, and I'm equally if not more put off by the Generation 8 Pokemon than I am by the Generation 5 Pokemon.
Lastly, I don't think I can ever, for any reason, excuse the Dex Cut, because, to me, it fundamentally goes against Pokemon and what it even is. It's especially insulting losing Pokemon when they're replaced with ugly, desperate, or otherwise unappealing designs. At the very least, Pokemon from earlier generations were still coded into Black and White 1.
