The benefit isn't STAB, it's Thunder Wave on Ground Types.

Honestly, yeah.
Normalize could potentially be a good ability.
Just change the 1.2x boost to a 1.3x boost and give it to something better than fucking Delcatty.

thunderwave is always good no matter what speed tier, unless the pokemon has guts, but it can still fully paralize

Doesn't every single pokemon learn Return anyways? It's already a normal type earthquake, so I can't see why normalise would do anything but remove your coverage. Unless you really want to turn focus blast or any other 120 BP move into a normal type.

It could be good but it's on shitmons. Hidden Power, Weather Ball, Natural Gift, Judgment, and Techno Blast all aren't changed by the ability so yes you can use a ghost multi-attack to kill any ghost mons who try to switch in to null your normal T-wave/Spore
