I didn’t care for the Battle Frontier a ton back in Gen 3-4, but it would be perfect for Gen 8+ with all of the solid QOL improvements for training competitive mons. A battle frontier when I’m able to max out the IVs, reset/train the EVs, change abilities/natures, etc. of my bros I used on the journey? Sign me the fuck up.

For me it was a masochistic waste of time. Like sure it's nice to have exist since it's something to do, but it's not fun to keep getting cut down by RNG when attempting to build a certain streak. All you get out of it really is something to gloat about to others, and either they don't care or they say good job and that's it, for all the time you put into completion.
