Thinking through logically, they only started it around shipping LGPE, if even that. As well as it looking more like SS than LGPE, we can infer this is the evolution of the core game engine due to them also saying Legends was the basis for the direction they wanted to take the core series in the future, but unlike most people, I'm not thinking ATB or other major gameplay changes will get put into them going forward. I'm sure they're only referring to how they design and build their regions and worldmaps. I can't see them completely excising the core trad gameplay going forward, regardless of what happens they won't run away from what brought them to the dance.
