lol never seen these goofballs before they look more like dragon warrior monsters. I missed all the 3DS gens so it's kinda fun playing the games and buying cards still getting surprised by new guys, even if a lot of the mons are trash

What they're based on is already ugly. Which brings the question, why are ugly monsters treated as such a bad thing in a monster taming series?

There can be well designed "ugly" monsters like Shiftry or Pinsir. The genies are just a complete utter travesty from a designer perspective. Why do they all look the same? Why do they have cheeto dust spots all over their arms and torso? Why do they have anal beads coming from out behind? Why are their mouths permanent scowl voids beneath the mustache so awkwardly? Why couldn't they differentiate them better? They realized that mistake and made the Therian formes but it just made them look even stupider. They should have just made the Therian formes first and let Sawk and Throh be the onis they so desperately wanted. And you know actually, come to think of it nothing about their designs fit their typing besides Flying. It couldn't have killed them to at least make Lando's cloud beige yellow or something? Sand clouds are a thing you know.

Because of their inspirations. Originally, there was suppose to be these two but then, they add Landorus for some reason.

They did differentiate to some extent. Different hair, mustache, tail, horn, color. Only the body and clouds are the same and that has to do with them being based on Kamis.
If anything, there should've been just two of them.
