Just when the tier was starting to become sort of tolerable some Pokemon that's gonna make everyone run uninspired fat again comes back. Really hope this stays banned but it probably won't since it's more of of an obnoxious team building presence and less of a Pokemon that genuinely wrecks the whole tier with a zero reasonable counterplay.

The Hero form is genuinely better since it can actually hold other Items. Crowned form is still broken for OU, but Hero is just way better.

And arguably Hero form for Zacian was better, but because Zacian-C was so common and faster by a few points, it was entirely outclassed.

>As for the nature and EVs, I prefer Jolly due to how common opposing Zamazenta-Crowned is, which you can tank a hit from easily, and for outrunning Tornadus-Therian and Weavile, which are both quite common right now. Adamant is helpful in improving some damage ranges after a Howl vs specific walls, but hazard or status support can easily compensate for that. I run a straightforward, offensive EV spread to maximize damage output, but if you wish to tank Earthquakes easier, I have seen people run some HP investment and other people drop off quite a bit of speed even. Overall, this set is strong, but I do not find it to be banworthy and oftentimes it requires great deals of support to even be consistent offensively. I think that as we have more experience with Zamazenta-Crowned, it will become more consistent and we will both find out how to use it and check/counter it better, so this is all preliminary anyway.

Seems pretty likely at this point that it will be unbanned since the unban vote doesn't even have to be a supermajority. Only has to be 50%+1 votes. I really fucking hope that some more people think about what Zamazenta actually adds to the meta other than making people run cancerous fat shit even more so than before. But they won't because people never acknowledge that stuff can be shitty for teambuilding but in practice gets easily checked by already good stuff (almost all of which is fat defensive shit).

I hope further down the line we get another retest like 3 months from now because only 2 weeks of testing a Pokemon that has never been in OU before really isn't much time. Every other suspect test is usually reserved for Pokemon that have already been part of OU for weeks if not months so the extra 2 weeks of the suspect test don't really change much about people's perceptions of it since it was already in the tier before anyway.

Rillaboom and the slows are already major problems at teambuilder and they won't get suspected. Not when retards are still bitching about pex and ignoring how boom/slows are shaping teams (Bisharp, Weavile, Corviknight, Skarmory, Magnezone are all byproducts of slow/boom spam).
Zamazenta-C does curb this since it shits on the slowkings and Rillaboom, while crushing all the dark types that ride KO. The biggest problem with the slows is having a team that isn't equipped to handle the variant your opponent is running, and centralizing around slowbro will at least stabilize this.
Zamazenta-C also isn't going to cause fat balance spam, most teams will simply start running QD Volcarona which will also suppress the steel birds and cause a rise in Tyranitar and Heatran.

The Calculator STILL doesn’t work with Dauntless Shield even after a full year of SWSH being released (and plenty of BH Pokemon that use Dauntless Shield), the vote is past 50% instead of being Super Majority, and how this suspect test just coincidentally happens to be during people’s final project/exams, it kind of seems like they really just want to create click-bait on their YouTube channels.

It's like a physical Chansey, but even worse because it actually has offensive presence.
It's no big deal to handle defensively, but it completely invalidates hyper offense. Even offensive teams need to run either something to defensively check it or Volcarona.

Your team really isn't hyper offense anymore when you have a mon in a defensive role.
Hyper offense is when you focus entirely on attacking. Any turns not spent attacking are spent setting up.
Zamazenta makes that playstyle impossible.

Most of the stallfags are tournament players because stall is better for tournaments. On the ladder, you can keep going up as long as you win more than you lose. If you lose in a tournament, you're done.
So of course stall, the playstyle centered around trying not to lose rather than trying to win, is popular there.
And because surveys are only given to tournament players, you get shit like pic related and threads like https://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/ss-ou-metagame-discussion-thread-v6-usage-stats-in-post-408.3668322/ which is full of people saying Pex should get banned and in-depth arguments about why that's the case.

Anything with Sacred Sword cuts through the defense boost for a SE hit. However, neither scarf Terrakion nor Kartana can kill from full without a crit.
Physical ground types are the most consistent at checking it. Hippowdon, Lando, Garchomp and to a lesser extent Swampert can all beat sets not running Ice Fang.
Bulky fighting-types like Buzzwole, Conk, and defensive Kommo-o can also handle it easily.
So no, it's not the same as Blissey/Chansey, it has more weaknesses on the physical side than they do on the special.

Wild Charge and Ice Fang is BoltBeam coverage. That along with CC and BB gives it near perfect neutral coverage over everything.

Stopped being crazy important ages ago. there's plenty of combo type coverages that also have greater or similar ranges. Also your "bolt" has recoil ona dog with no recovery and the "beam" is a 65bp so it won't do much on anything asides from frail's or Lando-T
