For competitive I guess the new system is more interesting but definitely not for a solo playthrough.
The bag, I haven't played gen5+ games in a while so I don't remember how their bags are but I played gen 4 games and the bags in these games are a fucking mess. You have to scroll for hours every time you want an item and you have a small loading time when you go in and out.
I vastly prefer gen 1 limited and instant bag with a separate storage space for all the shit you don't use.
Gen 3 had the best bag honestly but gen 1 still has a better one than the new standard.
Hyper Beam-like moves. They are completely useless trash right now. They are supposed to be the ultimate moves, especially Blast Burn and all.
The dialogues are the best, especially in the French version, but it was another time.
The MC is the best.
Completing the dex being a reachable goal is nice. Also I like the Dexit.
