What the fuck is wrong with these ones? I get OP's point but these? Ofcourse being underground when an earthquake happens is going to fuck you over. And curling up in a ball and charging up power and then rolling afterwards making it more powerful than simply just rolling makes sense.
A pointless battle interaction is Sky Drop not working on flying types for some reason.

Sky Drop still lifts up the flying type pokemon by the way. It just doesn't deal damage.
No text saying 'it flew before hitting the ground'.
Nothing. It's just supposed to seem like being dropped from 100 feet doesn't hurt flying types.

Minimize has like 200 counters that can basically insta-kill the minimized Pokémon, takes multiple risky turns to set up and is still banned.

Stealth Rock has exactly two (2) counters, both of which are basically used JUST to remove stealth rocks and are otherwise useless, completely removes certain types of Pokémon from competitive, and takes 1 turn to set-up, but is still allowed.

Why is Smogon like this?

I assume it's something to do with code priority. The game sees an Electric move and removes immunity before checking if the pokemon should be paralyzed. Other immunities like grass to powders aren't effected because the game doesn't bother to check if a grass type is immune to a grass type move.
