>>46816602I get irrationally angry at the idea of that shitmons (not to the point of violence or real word action but it stays on my mind far longer than it should). Especially when that shitmon has a counterpart that actually does good in PvP.
Why? Well, because in the real world some people are just better than others. This isn’t even a matter of working harder or smarter. Some people just have talents, privileges, charisma, resources, luck, or even just some undetermined ‘thing’ that makes people love them no matter what.
Then there are the human shitmons, people who get up every morning, try their best, do what they can, but still fail, everything they do is wrong, they never experience happiness, no true friendship just pity, no familiar love, people who are destined to never be know what success is or what it’s like to be valued by other human. A born loser in a world were everyone loves a winner.
Fairness and justice does not exist in real life, those are concepts that can only exist in fantasy escapism. Game Freak had the chance to create a fair and just world for their inhabitants. They can balance the game. They pay attention to the meta. They know what’s good and what’s bad. They had the rare opportunity to create a world where everyone got a chance to have value and be loved, instead they just decided that some of the children they created don’t deserve to be happy, don’t deserve to be actual Pokemon, just steeping stones to make their favs look better.
That is my sin, being angry at Game Freak because I’m too fragile to accept that it’s just a fucking game anyways. A game that would be more fun if you could USE any fully evolved without being laughed out a tourney but still just game.
