Because it's going to be a 1:1 copy and paste of DP but with worse graphics, worse music, and no game corner. They will be the most pointless games in the entire franchise

I played pearl in 2007, i have clear and vivid memories of my jouney in sinnoh, so i dont csre about those remakes. Instead, Pla is the game made for us, wich will add more lore and better understandment of aincent sinnoh. please gf dont fuck it up like swshit

DP graphics were trash in the first place. The music was the best in the franchise and still will be after it's remastered and reorchestrated in the new games.

I'm not a grafixbabby nor am I a sinnohtoddler. I'm more interested in Legends, but at the same time, I love how easily it is for the kid's series to work incel manchildren into a seethe, because they spent 2 years crying they HAD to make DP remakes in LGPE style, couldn't have Dynamax in Sinnoh and all that lovely bullshit they spewed THEN they get exactly what they wanted and they still cry like fucking bitches. Best of both worlds - DP remake AND Sinnoh in full 3D HD.
I can see why grafixbabies would cry though, they seem to have ignored they aren't the target demographic (not that they ever were).

Oh so NOW /vp/ likes those games I see. After regularly shitting on DP and saying shit like Platinum is "the worst of the best" constantly, the newest game makes you appreciate what you once had even though the remake would fix what /vp/ considers to be the biggest flaw, the engine speed and potentially the pokemon distribution and "hm spam".

pokefags will buy anything, that's not even a debate. because they will, and that's the truth, GF and nintendo can get complacent and release utter garbage, that's the problem here
even the free stuff is filled to brim with micro transactions
this trend will continue because GF has a loyal fanbase of cock suckers that will buy anything they release, and buy multiple copies just to spite people with taste, GF doesn't care and makes enough of a profit either way, and can always make up even more with DLC(which is now part of the franchise)

Let me inform you of something. The normies *don't* care for pokémon spin-offs. The only people buying those were the parents with kids crying for them, and the overweight manchildren who hoover up anything with "Pokémon" slapped on the box and frankly that's this place to a tee. Shit, they're still unironically crying for a new PMD, when they didn't even SHOW Ishihara it was worth spending money on a new entry in the series because they didn't buy the port, proving a market to him. Welp, the normies didn't give a monkey's either, which just left the kiddies to care and a DS game's outsold it and it on one of Nintendo's most successful consoles to boot.
Contrast SS selling over 20m in a year and 6 weeks and utterly disproving the notion people buy anything with Pokémon slapped on the box and more people buy anything of Game Freak's with Pokémon slapped on the box, because actual facts proves that's all they do give a fuck about. Gamefreak has done nothing but disappoint me every fucking opportunity they got since gen 6. Empty regions, missed opportunities, removed content and awful visuals time and time again.
Especially considering the absolute state of ORAS as a follow up to HGSS. With ORAS being a step in the opposite direction in every fucking way imaginable, you can understand my low expectations of gamefreak by now.
My expectations are beyond low. They're one step away from zero fucking kelvin. All i ever wanted from a sinnoh remake was the diamond and pearl games in their pure, original grid-based form with no changes whatsoever.
No 3D movement/camera SWSH bullshit, no alternate canon asspulls like in ORAS, no removed content and lazy hallways and certainly no retarded shoehorned mechanic like gigantamax. Nothing.

And it's exactly what i asked for and more.

Not ONLY did they keep the grid based overworld, not ONLY did they leave the region design seemingly unchanged, but they even attempted to replicate the chibi-esque style of the gen 4 trainer overworld sprites.
I was expecting them to fuck this up so god damn badly, but it looks so genuine and sincere that i love every single thing about it. Completely and utterly unchanged in as many fundamental ways as possible.
And they even expanded on the lore with a spinoff game on the side. A game where they were free to experiment all they wanted while leaving the remakes virtually unchanged.
My predictions about gen 8 came true with that being a classic-style game and an experimental game. It was just a few years in the works, and i couldn't be happier.
