I've been gone for a long time and didn't see anything in the catalog.

Is anything like PKHex available for SwSh? I'm only going to play Pokemon if I get to play the way I want to.

You can use PkHex, but you need a hacked switch (https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/user_guide/getting_started/) If you have a patched newer switch, AFAIK the only way to hack it is a modchip at this time.

It's less about getting caught with an injected pokemon and more about being caught with a hacked switch online. They can detect that shit now so you have to jump through a couple hoops before you can go online with them, or just have a second switch to trade them over

I know in the beginning, checks were so mediocre that you could transfer up galar pokemon. Not sure if it's still a thing. SwSh is not a fun game to play through anyway, regardless of the pokemon you use. I'm the same way as you and like to play with the team constructed how I want with no room for errors. I don't think SwSh is worth it

In that case, get it and just transfer pokemon up. You could always transfer a 6 IV ditto and breed if there are any galar mons you want to use competitively

I've heard you basically can't go online, or rather connect to Nintendo servers, with a hacked switch in any way. There's something called lan-play to play some multi player games without using their servers.
