Honestly I'd like Blaziken more if it was more chicken-like. I like the other two stages, but Blaziken is this weird pseudo-avian man-thing that doesnt keep enough of the earlier features.

I recognize that he has appeal though, and is easily the most popular of the Hoenn starters.

Samurott goes from walking on two legs to being a semi-quadruped. It took me years to imagine it standing up like a bear to find it cool. I can totally see why people wouldn't like Samurott. At least in the case of Blaziken it evolves; gaining more powerful legs with each evolution. And in the journey from Combusken to Blaziken, at least its hands look more dexterous.

With that being said, I like them both. So they're both good, but Blaziken is better.
