What is the appeal?

SM had more exploration than gen 5 or 6. HM exploration is also vastly overrated. There is nothing intrinsically rewarding about teaching a shitmon a HM after seeing an obvious HM spot.

HM puzzles are braindead. There werent like dungeon items in Zelda. You just pressed A to watch a cutscene. There is no skill to it.
