They’ve had several opportunities to balance the game but each generation gets more power crept and unplayable, and the gap between good and bad Pokémon gets wider and wider. They know that people like Pokémon when they are usable in battle and hate Pokémon when that suck in battle. By actively making certain Pokémon worse to make others look better, they are actively saying that some Pokemon don’t deserve to be valued. That’s not even getting into Dexit, they considered 29% unworthy of entering Galar then gave bullshit excuses like new models when they’re the fucking same and game balance when it’s fucking shit.
