These gba remakes are fine and all, but why does it feel so soulless compared to the original?
One thing I do like is the addition of new pokemon.

Ugly tilesets, weirdly they chose not to recycle anything from r/s, which actually looked pretty good and just made everything boring and bland.

more generic sprites
censorship
nu-pokemonisms like more HMs shoved in for no fucking reason, forced tutorials, and the item to get past the guards being a separate key item instead of a regular drink
