Specifically from Ken, I'm unsure. But Duraldon is a poke that is both a tad too ugly and yet its design is too boring to take much interest. As opposed to Turtonator, which is a poke that is a tad too ugly but its design is still pretty interesting.

It's a shame because it has the potential to be a really cool design. Maybe add another point of articulation, make the open mouth less derpy, change the arms and/or legs so it looks like it could actually get up if it fell over.

I think Ken's smoking too much, the reason they did that was if they though if they'd made it another big cat-inspired Electric type straight, it would detract from Raikou and as it was a Legendary, they couldn't have that.

I mean I don't think Luxray would look cooler with a smaller head per se, and I think the only uncool thing about it is how slow it is, but even then, I had to reach for it and don't really care. It's something other people say a lot so I said it too.

For me the issue with Luxray wasn't anything to do with the head, it had to do with the overdesigned front paws that felt the need to go over the top in differing from the rear legs by adding that stripe pattern on the back.

Not sure why people simp for Drudd, they draw all this SuPeR cOoL dYnaMic fan art but he doesnt look good at ALL in any official media. Its the most bizarre pokestockholm syndrome Ive ever seen alongside Ferrothorn.

Even when they explain why they like Drudd its a lot of allegorical whataboutisms and things not relating to the design itself but rather some made up imprint of it they made in their heads about it.

Besides, no one is trying to fuck Druddigon, anon. Some people just like it because it's more draconic compare to other dragon types in the series and is reminiscent of gargoyles. Not a fan of Druddigon myself but a Pokémon can be cool even if it's ugly. There's a line obviously, look at Crabominable, but exactly where that line lies is a matter of opinion.
I really like Grimmsnarl but a lot of people on here think he looks bad, whereas I've seen praise for the mashup Galar fossils but I fucking hate them.
