Honestly, I was probably less interested in these games than almost any other (until recently anyway). I was eventually proven correct, DP was kinda shit to actually play, and I don't think the strengths outweigh the weaknesses, especially not in the fullness of time. On the other hand, I probably bought way too into the BW hype since that's around the time /vp/ was created, but at least BW are really solid in the most general sense.
