I disliked that your partner was the "chosen one" I would have liked it if they had just been a random poke that happened to pick up a cool rock instead of being chosen by it for their pure heart or whatever. Also disliked how much
he apparently loved and trusted Dusknoir even though that side of your partner was never really shown before the betrayal considering the guy hadn't even heard of him before. Would have also liked if he had stopped referring to him as a "good" pokemon and grovyle as the "bad" one and then later just switched it around. A bit more nuance would have been preferable.Kind of nitpicky I know but they were enough to keep from loving it fully. As for a positive I really loved
the whole sequence before Groudon's fight as Chatot hypes it up as a really tough pokemon
