>>46852084Minor changes like how the eyes look, colors, eye lashes, giving pokemon expressions, detailed linework, even showing things like teeth gives a lot more dynamism to art. I don't mind little changes like that because its not that hard to imagine them existing in the setting in that manner.
Dramatic changes or additions however can be a bit distracting. For example adding breast to a Pokemon that doesn't have them, while not always sexual in nature it does distract a bit from them being a Pokemon. Its not bad mind you to be "off-model" Pokemon are always shown on and off model while in animation and manga and its fan art so who cares how you choose to show your art?
