I've been wondering this for a long time now. Of course it's obvious that Game Freak reuses models and animations of their Pokemon since Gen 6, but from what I've seen, I think that Game Freak might've stolen many Pokemon animations from Pokepark on the Wii. The models are definitely different, but many Pokemon's animations, like Hitmontop and Mr. Mime, have uncanny similarities to the animations of the gen 6 games. Was it inspiration, or did they literally just rip the animations and slap on new models?
