Newsflash faggot, just because something is well-received does not mean it’s well-designed. RBG was dogshit in terms of design, tons of glitches, art direction was ass, barely any content compared to later releases, and yet it was so well-received it started a multimedia empire. An empire that’s led to soulless automatons buying anything with a Pokeball on it and calling it “good” and “well-designed”, not even understanding the most basic of norms even within the series, let alone art as a whole.
Cinderace is first and foremost, one of the most blatant examples of “not a Pokémon”. He is a sports mascot, and while that could be unique if it was somehow displayed mechanically he instead plays like the bastard son of Axel Blaze and Greninja. Cinderace is simply a Fire-type Physical reskin of Greninja, completely wasted design space that could have been made making a forgettable Pokémon actually stand out.
