I like Dark the most but I think Fire is correct. It's going to be a starter type that's most popular, and Fire is the coolest of the bunch.

Consistency is key and indeed, ghost is easily the most consistent type. Even odd designs like dhelmise are well done.

It's definitely fire. In gen 4 they put barely any fire types in and people lost their fucking minds over it despite you being perfectly capable of picking the fire starter or just not using a fucking fire type at all. It's hardly mandatory.
