There's a difference between a connection and a connection that affects gameplay. Most likely since we're playing DISTANT prequels, this is the design team Galactic ripped off of when they designed their logo. Nothing more, nothing less.

How would a fucking symbol affect gameplay. Perhaps you mean story? No bad team ever affected the GAMEPLAY, it has remained mostly static except the usual additions they keep changing each generation since gen 6.
