>>46870438So your problem is rushing through the game. That's a YOU problem, not the game's fault you decided to skip 60% of the content because you wanted to beat it as fast as possible.
You can do the same in vanilla, it's beatable in 3 or 4 hours.
If you take it slow and do a perfect/completionist playthrough of CC it will take you a long ass time.
The beauty of CC is you can play it "normally" by going from city-to-city in a linear fashion just like in vanilla, but while benefiting from all the improvements and features of the romhack. CC makes vanilla Crystal obsolete.
Only in CC can you start in Kanto, and have the final battle on Mt. Silver be against GOLD instead of Red.
(If you start in Johto, the final trainer will be Red as usual). What other romhack has this amount of love and dedication to it?
Only in CC do you have 30 starter options, all with unique event/baby moves and a holding item.
Only in CC can you customize how your trainer looks.
CC even fixes bugs/glitches that vanilla has, and on top of restoring the Celebi event has a brand new sub-plot quest for Mewtwo and Mew instead of them just being a lazy wild encounter like most romhacks do.
