Honestly I don't care either way, but it seems really likely to me that they will add more content or more Pokemon into SWSH before 2023. No other generation survived so long without any update (since any time a new game came out, new forms/moves/Pokemon were added and the VGC scene moved into it). Expect either a free update or a new DLC pack by the end of this year.
