How did these pokemon evolve (Real evolution, not pokemon evolution) to get to this codependency? What if a Shellder attaches to another Pokemon? Does it evolve into a -bro as well?

Because they worked backwards to relationship. Was two-headed shellfish monster designed, then they gave it a one headed younger form and said the shell head attaches at evolution.

I don’t want that i want them to update the evo though (slowpoke wont evolve by normal level but by leveling up to 38 or what ever but will only evolve if a shelder is in the party and its at least level 38)
