Which is usually being an asshole, the only real exception is the fursona Absol but that faggot is the exception. Also, Psychic, really? I find Psychic is a bit too diverse to pin down.

Dark is the only evil type. Ghost applies to all manners of spiritual power. A pokemon that can communicate with spirits is ghost type. An actual ghost is ghost type. In literature, ghosts have been downright evil (like spiritomb given its dark typing) but some ghosts have been more impish like the gengar line that have canonically been shown to be more pranksters while still having the sort of edge that a ghost would have. Some ghost types are actually bros, like Gourgeist, who actually gather lost wandering souls in its body and helps them move on to the spirit world. These are good bros bc they prevent the human souls from becoming ghost types like phantump or yammask, pokemon that were literally once human. Just like humans, there can be both bad and good ghost mons.

Its an imp thing that lives in caves and feeds on jewels. Is it even a ghost? It should have just been Dark/Steel, or Ghost/Steel if you wanted to really capitalize on its Ghost immunities, but I really don't think its a ghost at all and I have had this problem since Gen 3.

Fairy type should've been Alien or even just Moon/Lunar type, that was the original justification for retconning so many pokemon to be Fairy but now Fairy is just... pink type.

Lions don't sing joyfully while mauling you or enjoy seeing you in pain like Gourgeist does. Lions simply do it out of instinct for their survival.

You can’t characterize predator behavior as simply neutral since you couldn’t determine their feelings to begin with. Pokédex entries clearly show malice and enjoyment from violence, so yeah, I’m thinking ghosts are the real assholes, meanwhile fairy types live rent free in your head and in execution are barely a nuisance to anyone.

In his defense there are some fairies that are dicks like the Tapu and Hatterene, that being his argument that the Ghost is 'just surviving' is a weird statement since Gourgeist dragging people to hell isn't mentioned to provide it any tangible benefit beyond being something it likes to do.
