For a bare bones simple excuse to redo classic gameplay with newer mechanics, it was barely serviceable...until you realize how easy it is to completely ruin the level curve.

OP btw, gen 2 is my favourite. It has the best vibe. And you can go into gen 1. Then gen 2 sprites are so fucking cool i love the art style. Im constantly nostalgic about the feeling i got playin gen 2

Only fucking Gen 3 game I like is Colosseum. Im playing Platinum and I havent picked it up for weeks. Im so damn bored of it. I dont remember this much hand holding in Pearl. Should have just bought that instead
