Whilst ‘Mind Blown’ as a meme is relatively recent, ‘having your mind blown’ has been an expression for ages. It’s the same with ‘Hangry’ to the point it’s just something people accept even if it isn’t part of the everyday dialogue.
Low-key is yet another term that’s been around for ages, and it’s a pun on music and its more demure nature than the Amped form. Falinks is just phalanx + links, Fishious Rend whilst goofy isn’t even that bad and makes the move’s type clear.
Noice is the most cringy, but it’s also just an innocent pun and as a single word conveys its meaning well enough and pairs better with ‘Ice Face’.
And beyond all of that, it’s a franchise aimed at kids and up. Of course it’s going to have silly things.
