How would you improve the catch em all? The act of mindlessly trying to get good RNG in a grasspatch or bumping into lifeless pokemon mindlessly walking around is boring/unchallenging in and of itself. But repeating false swipe + sleep and chucking balls is also inherently unfun. There really is no appeal in completing the pokedex outside of shiny autism.
