>>46894909>XYLegitimately terrible games, and the only main series games that are just outright bad. Dogshit titles, no excuse.
>ORASBetter than people here give it credit for. It has flaws but I think people unfairly weigh them against the strengths. The worst thing is no post-game but honestly I never bothered with it so that doesn't matter to me.
>SMLiterally the best regional dex since BW and one of the best in the entire series. The roster in these games is incredible and should be appreciated. The cutscenes dragging on and on hurt it a lot, but the pokemon part of the pokemon game was great.
>USUMNever support 3rd versions, ever. Dont buy them. I never have. Its a predatory business practice and we should all be glad they switched to DLC. How good or bad the game was is irrelevant.
>LGPEVisually the peak of pokemon, these graphics are the platonic ideal. Not having wild battles sucked but it wasn't a main series game anyways. It was more about having a comfy adventure with some pokebros and it delivered on that at least.
>SSDefinitely felt unfinished and unpolished, but I like that some of the gyms were themed instead of being typed like Raihan being a weather gym when I expected him to be dragon. The roster here is hit and miss but some of the designs are going to be fan favorites even another 25 years from now, and some are going to be memed as dogshit for 25 years.
>BDSPAll we really know are the graphics now, which aren't great looking. But if graphics mattered, LGPE would be called the best pokemon game ever. Its a point against it but I say wait and see.
>LAIt remains to be seen if this open world is just a backdrop or if it'll be dynamic and engaging, that's going to. Make or break this game. Frame rate issues will probably be patched as quickly as they were in botw so no worries there. I just hope they have a big enough dex to keep it from being repetitive, and to make different areas/weather/times feel distinct.
