I’ve seen a couple of her streams where she plays against viewers, and this may just be her focusing on her chat but she doesn’t seem to grasp a lot of the TCG. She doesn’t thin her deck much, botches sequencing on RS Urshifu a lot (switching before evolving so gale thrust doesn’t get extra damage), and for some reason everyone she plays against has a Dedenne start and unplayable hand. She more or less knows how to play the popular decks, but if you want to see proper deck thinning and sequencing go to AzulGG or someone who is actually relevant in worldwide tournaments.

I know that every CCG is going to have degrees of luck required to win, but Pokemon has so much more variance in it that you might as well be playing poker.

It's also got far less interaction and decision making than any other card games- no instant speed effects, no trap cards, nothing.
