Feriligatr is already good, it needs a few things to be useable in the currently powercrept meta.
Typhlosion really isn't good at all. Eruption is a good move but that's literally the only thing it can do, and any priority move, entry hazard, Flash Fire, Thick Fat, or bulky water, dragon, rock type completely invalidates it. Also it has to compete directly with Charizard because Game Freak though it's be funny to give them the exact same Base Stats, but only Zard gets to have a special movepool. There's a reason why Typhlosion's Smogon Page is Cursed.
