Pokemon fans I got a question!
So I not really a "fan" of pokemon games (I'll pay em but not much) but I really like the pokemon designs . So I have a couple pokedolls that are worth something like wailord and noctowl I bought. Is that werid to collect pokemon just because I like the designs but I'm not really a fan?

Yeah i know I really just like the designs lmao :) like groudon is way badass
It's just the games are kinda "ok" lol and I'm not into cards

I used to collect the cards without playing them just because of the illustrations, that's why your plushies reminded me of that.
Maybe you would enjoy some "spin-off" game, like Snap or Go?

Nah not really I've tried
I did find pkmn clover fun (it's a fan game) and emerald was kinda cool but I'm more into the pokemons
Since I've been a kid I always thought the plush where cooler than the game
And the plush are worth alot of money
Like a have a wailord pokedoll that's worth 100+

Weird, because these games are just like the main series, except aren't official. Besides Go and Snap, I think another recommendation would be Ranger series, since you see your whole team following you.

Though the first game isn't a good entry point, since you need to draw a set amount of circles around them in a row without the streak being broken by their attacks, as opposed to just filling a bar one circle at time in the later ones.
But there's more to it, like using different types' skills to help during and outside battle.

Other recommendations would be Conquest and Mystery Dungeon, though the latter limits you to using your 2 unevolved starters most of the time, in a team with a maximum of 4.

Nah, I do the same
I don't play the games anymore, don't even own a switch but I still collect plush and other merch
and I've spend far, far more on plush than most people will on games

Nah mate. I'm only in this franchise for the Pokemon too, and there are several other monster franchises that I like for their monsters as well.
