I think it's within the realm of possibility for Gamefreak to release a small update that literally only adds the rest of the Pokemon to SWSH, considering they will all probably be in the DP remakes and all they would need to do is copy the files and modify tables etc. It wouldn't be as easy as copy-paste but 90% of the work would be done already.
Especially if they make DP and SWSH battle and trade compatible. I don't personally think it will happen, as that requires effort and Gamefreak doesn't like that, but it is within realistic expectations, albeit borderline unrealistic.
