You can get one early in USUM and combined with Incineroar they cover most trials and major battles.
Similarly, Chesnaught + Zard Y has STAB or coverage for every gym in Kalos other than Psychic IIRC.

The theming wasn't even intentional. In my first UM run I chose Litten because I had already used Rowlet in Sun, then I looked into the expanded dex and noticed that Fighting/Flying was a great partner for Fire/Dark. The fact that both were wrestlers is just a bonus.

Zweilous absolutely cannot sweep the league. It has base fucking 58 speed and 72/70/70 defenses with only 85 base attack to work with. You're lying if you insist you swept the league with a Zweilous, Marshall alone would split your ass in half.

Actually a monster. Swept Fantina as buneary, with foresight, beat the shit out of Wake. Whoops Cynthia's garchomp better than my garchomp. Fast, decent attack, good defense, huge moveset, levels up quickly. Learns return on level up, gets all the punches from the move tutor.
