I just finished Pokemon Emerald. Can some PLEASE explain to me why this game is shilled so hard on this board while Ruby/Sapphire are brutally trashed?

>This is a bit subjective, but I think that both Magma and Aqua being bad makes the story worse. The story works better when you team up with one to fight the other. For Emerald, they should have given you a choice which team to fight, like they let you choose between Latios and Latias.
