Kanto is so fucking easy. The Sevii Isles in the remakes had like one or two fights that weren't braindead but that's it.

Johto is mostly easy but you have to grind a fair bit towards the end.

Hoenn is about average. The Battle Tower/Frontier can be somewhat challenging. The remakes destroy any semblance of challenge.

Sinnoh is pretty average but Cynthia/Distortion World Cyrus can be somewhat challenging. I remember the Battle Frontier being a lot easier than Hoenn's but it's been a while.

My most recent experience with Unova was the Drayano hacks but I remember the base games being pretty tough before the hacks. Victory Road is a slog and the Elite 4 in BW2 is pretty brutal.

Kalos is pretty easy for the most part but there are random trainers that will wreck your shit.

Alola's difficulty stems entirely from Totem fights and Ultra Necrozma.

I haven't done any Galar postgame but the maingame is pretty easy.

Sword and Shield should go in the lowest category, even for the post-game stuff. if you completely suck ass the rental teams are competent enough. I didn't play the DLC but since getting level 100 is stupid easy I can't imagine it would be difficult
