There's also another item ball there that will approach you, then open the start menu and send you into infinite battles against a level 8 Omega), and then there are some lesser glitches like a trainer in the Cinnabar gym letting you re-battle him over and over and Erika in the post-game boss rush acting like she's already been defeated.
