>>46944302Honestly anon, I really really find it difficult to give someone the best entry level game.
E.g. hgss looks good, has a shitty level curve and the postgame hits better when you played frlg. But frlg feels sometimes outdated and is really difficult to play legally now.
>rby, good games but archaic mechanics very easy to emulated or if you have a 3ds get the vc(pirated or not)>gsc, best played after rby (also vc version)>emerald, recently beat it, hoenn is a great region, but training is annoying.(difficult to play, if not emulator or own characters njected vc)>frlg, gen1 remaked. Has some strange choices but looks fantastic. (Same as emerald) >platinum, really good difficulty curve, good stuff, artstyle is meh, pokedex variation is also meh, I basically ended up either having half of a mirrormatch with cynthia, but then shuffeled and used pokemon I never used before> hgss, great artstyle, tons of shit to do, good music, shitty levelcurve, somePokemon are kinda hidden, best enjoyed after playing red or frlg
>bw my favourite, but it is controversial. I think it‘s a good entry point. But keep in mind you will only play with unova mons until postgame plus it is hard to play gen4 after that. >bw2 really good but best enjoyable after bw>xy good, but better with active players. Tons of pokemon but kinda less to do>oras good, but kinda same like xy>sm good story, but more railroaded>usm, better sm with worse story and still railroaded>swsh, most recent, best qol changes, but it feels barren and only is good when you get the dlc. But it is not as bad as other make itDecide for yourself. Look which region you like, which starters and then just play it.
