Type effectiveness change
>Dual types now gain 1.25x from stab instead of 1.5x
>Dual types take 2.5x damage from double weaknesses instead of 4x

It would be bad because base stats would be basically all that matters and nobody would switch Pokemon for type coverage in battle.

This would be a good way to balance single vs dual type offensive mons (Larger Single STAB, or Two Smaller STABS)

>Dual types take 2.5x damage from double weaknesses instead of 4x
2.5x is too low. Change it to 3x, I think that would be a good amount so that offensive mons with dual-weakness are still easy to take down while being just enough to help defensive dual-weakness mons survive hits better.

Make it 1.3x STAB and 3x for a double SE weakness. That way it's a smaller change, while still having a minor effect. Also, make double resistances 1/3 instead of 1/4

this is extremely less intuitive math and absolutely retarded for this reason. even as an elementary school kid I was able to figure out that water on rock is 2x, and water on ground is 2x, so water on rock/ground mons like onix is 4x. leave it to americans to think up math systems that make no fucking sense.

You're just making stall better.
Make it so monotype mons gain 1.75x STAB and dual types still get 1.5x. Monotypes with Adaptability get 2.5x instead of 2x.
And the double weakness thing is fine as-is. Since dual type mons also tend to have more resistances than monotype mons.

Give Normal types 1.75x STAB bonus since they don't hit anything for super effective damage. I think that's the only one they could legitimately justify without much testing.
