>Grid based 4-direction movementBecause it's better for map design, and it shows. B2/W2 had infinitely better routes than post-B2/W2 games. It's not even close, and B2/W2 didn't reach the heights of D/P/Pt.
>EV trainingSure, but any worthwhile comp play is on Showdown, and you'd only need to EV train if you're planning on doing PWT. I always do it when I replay W2, but it's not for everyone.
>Pokemon interactionUseless fluff feature. I'm not a furry so I don't care to molest Gardevoir or Lucario.
>Berry farmingUseless fluff feature post-Gen-4. Berries were only good when you could plant them outside.
>New RegionThe new routes in B2/W2 were higher quality than all of Kalos. Case closed.
