I hate Kanto more than Galar and I can't stand people who don't have Kanto in last place in tier lists.

it's supposed to be the tree is the only way out of town, and that this guy's house that was recently burgled happened to have a 'backdoor' way to leave the city

that being said the mayor of Cerulean should be fucking fired because having those trees block the way into and out of town for so long without having city workers come and clear things up is a huge problem for freedom of travel

Team Rocket stole the Dig TM and used it to dig a hole in the wall.
There it's a two-tiles wide door with a path. It doesn't make any sense.

I never liked FRLG because I thought they were just lazy unecessary remakes that didn't even add that much to the QOL. But the more I look into it the more I think it's terrible.

They fucked it up in LGPE by changing cycling road to completely boxing Vermillion City in so theres no way a ship can actually get in and out.

FR/LG suffered from trying to adapt Gen 3 aesthetics to a much more grid-based route design thanks to older tilesets.
They really should've full-blown remade the routes to be more natural but instead as a result all remakes in the series now refuse to fix any issues with the original games because 'muh faithfulness!'

idk why but this town in RBY hits me hard. nugget bridge, rocket burglary house, bike shop, bill's house, unknown dungeon peeking out. probably because I was a 5 year old and it took me longer than it should have to figure out how to get past the rival and misty so I spent a lot of time there.
