Nah, but Mach Punch + Drain Punch would become really annoying and Choice Band Cronc would rise in usage. Melmetal on the other hand would be banned back to Ubers because Double Iron Bash becoming a spammable base 180 60% flinch chance move along with insane boosts to it’s elemental punch coverage.

Ice Punch and Thunder Punch are easily punished due to their low BP. Melmetal's best moves are DIB, EQ, and Superpower.

If it learned Ice Hammer, Hammer Arm, and Plasma Fists, it would get banned with a 1.5x boost.

No, the point is that you cripple the opponent with the Flame Orb (unless it's Clefable) and benefit from whatever item you receive (unless it's Sticky Barb, Black Sludge or Choice Specs which are admittedly common items to trick away).
