Gen 2 had so much soul, maybe that's why impotent zoomers seethe so much at it. Designs like girafarig shit on almost all the new gen ones.

I think it was supposed to be, the back half being darkly colored and learning Crunch is still there even in the final. Not sure why they went and fucked it over with psychic, it still wouldn't have been good but it'd certainly be better..

Beta Girafarig was Dark/Normal. Since Dark type is called Evil in Japanese that's probably why the backsprite looks so unsettling.
